Royal Hotel

The Royal Hotel is a small, independent hotel in The Scottish Borders and has been welcoming guests for almost 200 years. Updated for the comfort of today’s travelers, all of our rooms are en-suite, with flat screen TV, beverages and biscuits and of course free wifi!

Guests can enjoy a full Scottish cooked breakfast from mid-March to mid-October for a nominal charge. Breakfast is offered in our dining room

All our rooms are situated upstairs on the 1st and 2nd floor {there is no lift available.}

We are conveniently located on both St Cuthbert’s Way and The Abbey Way walking trails. Hence we offer a boot room for all walking and other boots.

There is limited parking behind the hotel, alternatively the council car park is 100 yards from our door and offers 60 hours free parking.

We also offer secure, under cover bicycle parking.
